Job summary

Protocol Education is recruiting an experienced SEN Learning Support Assistant to join a welcoming primary school in Longwell Green. You will support two pupils in KS1/KS2 on a long-term basis, working alongside an experienced staff member for continuity.

Initially three days per week (Wednesday to Friday), with potential to extend to full-time for the right candidate. You will focus on engagement, emotional regulation and building positive relationships to help pupils thrive.

Qualifications

• Experience with SEND, SEMH or behaviour support.
• Ability to build trusting relationships with reluctant learners.
• Excellent spoken and written English.

Responsibilities

• Provide dedicated support for two pupils in KS1 and KS2.
• Support engagement in learning and emotional regulation.
• Collaborate with teachers and support staff.
• Assist with structure routines and break times.
