Stoke Newington School and Sixth Form is seeking a dedicated individual to join our SEN team to support pupils with special educational needs and help them access learning, ensuring they make outstanding progress.

You will support Senior LSAs, Deputy SENCOs and the SENCO, provide one-to-one assistance for pupils with physical disabilities, and work across whole class, small groups and individual settings while upholding safeguarding and DBS requirements.

Competenze

• 5 GCSEs at grades A*-C / 9-4, including Maths and English.
• Experience working with young adults aged 11-16.
• Experience with or caring for pupils with special educational needs.

Mansioni

• Provide support for individual pupils or groups with special educational needs.
• Provide one-to-one assistance for pupils with physical disabilities.
• Provide supervision and care where necessary.
• Support pupils to access the curriculum.
• Work with pupils in whole class, small groups and individually.
• Report pupil problems or behavioural difficulties to the teacher.
• Report progress and achievements to the teacher or line manager.
