Job summary

Tradewind Recruitment is seeking a dedicated SEN Learning Support Assistant to join a welcoming school in Castle Point, Essex from September 2026. This full-time, long-term role involves 1:1 and small-group support for pupils with SEN, helping them access the curriculum and develop confidence and social skills.

You may be an experienced SEN TA, Learning Support Assistant, Teaching Assistant or related role. CPD and consultant support are provided.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting pupils with SEN.
• Experience with Autism Spectrum Disorder, ADHD, SEMH or complex learning needs is advantageous.
• Patient, caring and resilient with a genuine passion for helping children reach their potential.

Responsibilities

• Provide 1:1 and small-group support to pupils with SEN.
• Support pupils to access the curriculum and participate in lessons.
• Help pupils develop confidence, independence and social skills.
• Support children with additional needs and promote positive behaviour.
