Job summary

Cassidy Recruitment Ltd. is assisting a specialist SEN school in Tottenham to recruit 3 Learning Support Assistants. The roles focus on supporting secondary students with learning disabilities, autism and additional needs, through 1:1, small group and classroom support.

Successful candidates will work with teachers and SENCOs to create a positive, inclusive learning environment, promoting wellbeing and academic progress for children and young people with diverse needs.

Qualifications

• Experience working with children or young people with SEN, learning disabilities or autism.
• Patient, compassionate and understanding approach.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide 1:1 support to secondary students with SEN.
• Deliver small group support or classroom assistance as required.
• Assist teachers with lesson delivery and classroom activities.
• Support students with autism, communication needs and complex requirements.
• Foster independence, confidence and social development.
