Tradewind Recruitment are recruiting an experienced SEN Learning Support Assistant (LSA) to join a SEND ARP within a mainstream primary school in Ruislip. The role involves providing dedicated support to pupils with additional needs, helping them reach their full potential.

The ideal candidate will have SEN experience, a patient and proactive approach, and the ability to work collaboratively with teachers and professionals.

Qualifications

• SEN experience required.

Responsibilities

• Provide 1:1 and small-group support.
• Support pupils with their learning and development.
• Help pupils develop communication and social skills.
• Support emotional regulation and positive behaviour.
• Follow individual support plans and EHCP targets.
• Create a calm, safe and nurturing environment.
• Work closely with teachers and other professionals.
• Encourage pupils to develop independence and confidence.
