Job Title: SEN Learning Support Assistant

Contract: Full time, Temporary (with potential for permanent position)

Teaching Personnel is seeking a passionate and dedicated SEN Learning Support Assistant for schools in the Wigan area. The ideal candidate will have experience supporting students with Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC) and ADHD on a 1:1 basis. Responsibilities include managing behaviour effectively through consistent routines, providing stability, and ensuring each child's emotional and educational needs are met.

Requirements:

1. Previous experience working with children with Special Educational Needs.
2. Right to work in the UK.
3. DBS check registered on the update service or willingness to obtain one.
4. Experience managing challenging behaviours and adapting support strategies.
5. Knowledge of SEN strategies, interventions, and experience with complex needs.

Pay rates are inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This role is initially temporary, with the possibility of becoming permanent later.
