Teaching Personnel is looking for a dedicated SEN Learning Support Assistant to work in Reading. Teaching Personnel is currently seeking a dedicated and compassionate SEN Learning Support Assistant (LSA) to work in a welcoming and inclusive school in the Reading area.
This is a fantastic opportunity to support pupils with a range of needs including ASD, ADHD, speech and language difficulties, and social, emotional and mental health challenges.
Provide 1:1 and small group support to students with SEN, both in and out of the classroom
Assist the class teacher in adapting lessons to meet individual needs
Foster a positive, safe, and engaging learning environment
Monitor student progress and provide feedback to staff and parents
Promote the development of students' social skills, independence, and confidence
Previous experience working with children or young people with SEN (desirable but not essential)
A patient, empathetic, and resilient approach to supporting learning
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work effectively as part of a team
A relevant qualification in education or care (e.g., CACHE, NVQ, or equivalent) is advantageous
