A friendly and inclusive primary school in Kingston Upon Thames is seeking a compassionate and dedicated SEN Learning Support Assistant (LSA) to join their team. This is an exciting opportunity to support children with special educational needs, helping them thrive in a nurturing and structured learning environment.

Role Highlights:
  • Full-time, permanent position at a friendly primary school in Kingston Upon Thames
  • Provide one-to-one and small group support to pupils with SEN, including autism (ASC), speech and language difficulties, and social, emotional, and mental health (SEMH) needs
  • Assist in adapting learning activities and classroom resources to support individual learning styles
  • Work closely with teachers and the SENCO to implement personalised education plans (EHCPs)
  • Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes confidence and independence

Experience & Qualifications:
  • Previous experience working with children, preferably in an SEN setting
  • A patient, empathetic, and proactive approach to supporting students

  • Relevant qualifications (e.g., CACHE Level 2/3, Teaching Assistant qualification) or willingness to undertake training
  • Enhanced DBS check required
