Make a difference to the lives of children with SEN and complex needs
Fresh Start in Education are looking for experienced and person-centred SEN Learning Support Assistants to work on a 1:1 basis with primary-aged children with learning, communication and personal care needs in a primary educational setting. This role involves planning and delivering communication, life skills and basic literacy and numeracy skills sessions in creative, practical and engaging ways on a 1:1 basis, as well as supporting the child in a whole-class setting where appropriate. The role will also involve emotional and behavioural support, as well as providing personal care when necessary, supported by another member of staff. Knowledge of PECS is desirable.
