Aspire People Ltd is seeking a dedicated SEN Learning Support Assistant to work in a Leeds mainstream school, supporting pupils with SEND and helping them access the curriculum.

The role is long-term, full-time for the full academic year, with opportunities to train as a teacher in the future; experience with ASD, PMLD, and ADHD is welcomed.

Qualifications

• UK Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
• Excellent understanding of core subjects (English, Maths, Science).
• Experience supporting young people (tutoring, mentoring, youth work or similar).
• Experience working with students with SEND is highly desirable.
• Aspiring to train as a teacher in the future is desirable.

Responsabilités

• Long-term, full-time role in the same school for the full academic year.
• Support in either a primary or secondary mainstream school.
• Assist pupils with ASD, PMLD, ADHD.
