Job summary

Academics in London is seeking a dedicated SEN Learning Support Assistant to support pupils aged 9-18 with a range of needs in Islington. The role is full-time, Monday to Friday, term-time only, starting September 2026 with trial days available now.

Role Details

• Position: SEN Learning Support Assistant (Full-Time)
• Pay: £95 - £105 per day
• Start Date: September 2026 (trial days available now)

As a SEN LSA, you will play a vital role in supporting pupils aged 9‑18 with a range of additional needs, including ASD, ADHD, and behavioural challenges. You'll work closely with experienced staff, receive hands‑on training, and make a meaningful difference every day.

Your Responsibilities

• Providing 1:1 and small group support
• Assisting pupils with their learning, development, and wellbeing
• Supporting students with personal care needs in a respectful and dignified manner
• Working collaboratively with teachers, SENCOs, and external professionals
• Helping to create a positive, inclusive, and structured classroom environment
