Job summary

Milk Education is recruiting a caring and committed SEN Learning Support Assistant to join a supportive primary school in Northumberland from September 2026.

You will provide tailored support to pupils with additional needs, helping them access learning, develop independence and feel confident within the classroom.

Qualifications

• Previous experience supporting children with SEND is desirable.
• Experience within a school, nursery, care or support setting.
• A patient, calm and empathetic approach.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
• Resilience and the ability to remain positive in challenging situations.
• A genuine passion for inclusive education.
