Job summary

Milk Education in Reading, Berkshire is seeking a Learning & Behaviour Mentor Support to work in SEN schools on a full-time basis during term time. You will support pupils 1:1 and in small groups, helping with emotional regulation, behaviour management and social development, under the guidance of teachers and SEND professionals.

The role offers valuable experience in specialist education settings, with ongoing CPD and progression opportunities, and is ideal for graduates or aspiring education

Qualifications

Experience supporting children in SEN settings preferred.
Calm, patient, and resilient demeanor.
Strong communication and relationship-building skills.

Responsibilities

Supporting pupils on a 1:1 and small group basis.
Helping students regulate emotions and manage behaviour positively.
Encouraging communication, confidence, and social development.
Creating a safe, supportive, and engaging learning environment.
Working closely with teachers, therapists, and SEND professionals.
Supporting pupils both in and outside of the classroom.
