Teach Plus Limited in Brent is seeking an experienced SEN Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming mainstream primary school from September 2026 to support KS1 pupils with ASD and ADHD. You will work with the class teacher and SENCO to provide personalised support to help pupils access learning in a structured environment, developing their communication, independence and behaviour.

This role requires a DBS on Update Service and the right to work in the UK.

Formación

• Relevant experience working in a similar SEN Teaching Assistant role within the UK education sector is essential
• Previous experience supporting pupils with ASD and ADHD is highly desirable
• Strong communication and behaviour management skills
• Valid Enhanced DBS Certificate on the Update Service is essential
• Right to work in the UK

Responsabilidades

• Support a group of KS1 pupils with ASD and ADHD as a SEN Teaching Assistant
• Provide targeted support during lessons and classroom activities
• Use appropriate strategies to support communication, engagement and positive behaviour
• Help pupils access the curriculum and develop greater independence
• Work closely with the class teacher and SENCO to implement individual support strategies
• Monitor pupils' progress and provide feedback to teaching staff
