Job summary

Academics in Slough is seeking an SEN Intervention Teaching Assistant to support a student or small group, delivering targeted interventions and adapting lessons to individual learning styles. The role runs Monday to Friday, 8:30am–4:00pm, with a competitive daily rate of £90–£95. You’ll work closely with the class teacher, SENCO, and parents to promote inclusion and student growth.

Salary is determined by qualifications and experience, in line with the client pay policy.

Responsibilities

• Deliver one-to-one or small group support tailored to students' needs.
• Assist in planning and delivering accessible, engaging lessons.
• Monitor progress and share observations with teacher and SENCO.
• Provide emotional support to promote resilience, confidence, and independence.
• Collaborate with staff, SENCO, and parents to implement consistent strategies.
