Job summary

Veritas Education are seeking a SEN Intervention lead to work 1-1 or small groups with children in Leeds and surrounding areas. The role is temporary and focuses on supporting pupils with SEN, using strong behaviour management to foster inclusion.

You will collaborate with SLT, SENDCO and teachers, record progress, and adapt learning to meet diverse needs. Previous school experience is desirable, with commitment to safeguarding and building positive relationships with families.

Qualifications

• Experience in a school setting or with children is desirable but not essential.
• Ability to manage behaviour and engage learners effectively.
• Excellent communication with pupils, staff and parents.

Responsibilities

• Provide 1-1 or small-group support to pupils with SEN.
• Record and report on pupil progress, interventions and safeguarding concerns.
• Collaborate with SLT, SENDCO and teachers to plan inclusive learning.
• Adapt teaching approaches to meet diverse needs and age groups.
