We are seeking a SEN Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to join a welcoming and inclusive primary school in Dorking, supporting pupils aged 4-11 on a 1:1 basis or in small group interventions. This role is ideal for someone who thrives on making a real difference in children's educational journeys-particularly those with ASD, social-emotional needs, or anxiety-related challenges.
Key Responsibilities:
What We're Looking For:
Minimum GCSE Grade 4 (C) or above in English and Maths (or equivalent) - essential
HLTA status (Level 4 or equivalent qualification or demonstrable skill level) - essential
Experience supporting pupils with autism, SEMH, or additional needs in a school setting
A calm, patient, and empathetic approach
Relevant training in mental health, emotional literacy, or behaviour management - desirable

Location: Dorking
Salary: £90 - £95 (depending on experience)
Hours: 8:30-3:30 Monday-Friday
Start Date: ASAP depending on your availability
