Job summary

The Graduate Network is looking for a SEN Graduate Teaching Assistant to support pupils with Autism and SEMH needs in a specialist school. You will work 1:1 and in small groups to help pupils engage positively, build confidence, and access learning.

The ideal candidate will have a degree in an SEN-related subject and a genuine interest in supporting pupil progress. This role offers meaningful experience before progressing into educational or clinical psychology.

Qualifications

  • Must hold or be willing to obtain an Enhanced DBS certificate.
  • Genuine interest in supporting pupil progress and wellbeing.
  • Desire to pursue a career in educational or clinical psychology.

Responsibilities

The school is a specialist secondary setting that supports students aged 11 to 19 with autism and associated communication, learning and sensory needs. Whilst the school caters for secondary aged children, they run a primary curriculum.
