SEN Graduate Teaching Assistant

Are you a graduate with a passion for SEN and the drive to make a difference to pupils with additional needs?

Position details:

  • Start: September 2025 – July 2026
  • Salary: £81–£101 per day
  • Location: Yardley
  • Support: 1:1 and small group support to children with autism and ADHD

The Role

As an SEN Graduate Teaching Assistant, you will support pupils with additional needs, mainly autism and ADHD. Your responsibilities include delivering targeted interventions, managing sensory and behavioral challenges, and adapting learning resources to individual needs. Your support will occur in classrooms, small groups, and through 1:1 sessions, working closely with the class teacher and SENCO.

The Candidate

You are a graduate with a calm, patient demeanor and a strong interest in SEN. Experience working with children or young people, especially with additional needs, is highly desirable. You should be observant, proactive, and capable of building trust quickly.
