Job summary

Teaching Personnel is recruiting Teaching Assistants and SEN Teaching Assistants in Lancaster and surrounding areas to join our network of education professionals. You will provide classroom support to teachers and pupils across EYFS, KS1 and KS2, including working with small intervention groups and pupils with additional needs.

We offer a range of placements from day-to-day supply to long-term roles with flexible patterns, weekly PAYE pay, free CPD and ongoing support from a dedicated

Qualifications

• Experience working with children, young people or within an educational setting.
• A positive and proactive attitude.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• A genuine passion for helping children succeed.
• Experience supporting pupils with SEN is advantageous.
• An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to obtain one.

Responsibilities

• Providing classroom support to teachers and pupils.
• Supporting children's learning and development across EYFS, KS1 and KS2.
• Working with small intervention groups and individual pupils.
• Assisting children with additional learning needs and SEN requirements.
• Encouraging positive behaviour and classroom engagement.
• Helping to create an inclusive and supportive learning environment.
