Job summary

Lake Haven School in Warwickshire is seeking an exceptional qualified teacher to join our nurturing and inclusive community. We are an Independent Specialist School for up to 40 pupils aged 7–16 with EHCPs, specialising in supporting SEN and ensuring emotional wellbeing, belonging and high‑quality learning in a calm, outdoor‑minded setting.

The successful candidate will be QTS‑qualified, experienced with SEN, flexible across ages, and able to plan a broad curriculum tailored to individual needs.

Qualifications

• Be a qualified teacher (QTS) with significant teaching experience.
• Have experience working with, or a strong interest in, SEN.
• Be flexible and confident teaching across different ages and developmental stages.
• Plan and deliver an engaging, broad curriculum adapted to meet individual needs.
• Be calm, nurturing, patient and emotionally intelligent.
• Think creatively and be willing to do things differently for the benefit of our pupils.
• Enjoy working as part of a close, supportive team.
• Be happy to embrace outdoor learning - including animals, mud and in all weather!
