Service Care Solutions is working alongside a Local Authority in Leicester, seeking a SEN Finance Coordinator for a temporary contract. Please see the role details below.

Role:

SEN Finance Coordinator

Rate:

£22.03 to £23.54 per hour (PAYE excl.) / £23.54 to £26.51 per hour (Umbrella)

12 months ongoing

Role Overview:

1. Support all functions within accounts payable
2. Experience within Social Care finance is desirable
3. Assist and develop existing team members
4. Ensure accuracy of the general ledger through regular reconciliations with business systems (e.g., Oracle, Synergy, Mosaic)
5. Implement and monitor internal financial controls, ensuring compliance with legislation and Council policies
6. Manage and secure sensitive information; report breaches according to security protocols
7. Maintain accurate digital and paper records; ensure secure communication of financial data
8. Build effective partnerships with service areas, care providers, agencies, and internal teams
9. Communicate clearly and promptly with stakeholders via phone, email, post, and visits
