Job summary

Remedy Education is seeking an experienced SEN English Teacher for an SEN school in Epping. The role focuses on planning and delivering accessible English lessons for pupils aged 11–18 with diverse SEN needs, drawing on QTS and SEN expertise.

You will work full-time, 8:30 am–4:30 pm, with immediate interviews and potential for permanent placement. You’ll collaborate with SEN support staff, therapists and the wider school team; a strong, patient, adaptable approach and enhanced DBS are preferred.

Qualifications

• QTS or equivalent teaching qualification is required.
• Experience teaching English to secondary pupils with SEN/SEMH.
• Strong classroom management and adaptability in SEN settings.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging English lessons tailored to pupils' learning needs.
• Teach pupils aged 11–18 with diverse SEN requirements.
• Monitor progress and communicate with the wider SEN team.
