Job summary

Teaching Personnel Ltd. is recruiting for a SEN College Teacher / Tutor in Blackpool with immediate start and full-time hours. The role is based at a dedicated learning site for learners aged 18 to 25 with SEND, focusing on independence, employability and community participation.

You will plan and deliver learner-centred sessions, support skill development, and monitor progress against individual targets within a Preparation for Adulthood framework.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering SEN-focused teaching in post-16 settings.
• Strong planning and delivery of learner-centred sessions.
• Experience supporting learners to gain independence and employability.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver high-quality lessons tailored to individual learner needs.
• Support learners to develop independence, social, communication and life skills.
• Deliver Functional Skills and vocational learning opportunities.
• Prepare learners for employment, volunteering, further study and community participation.
• Monitor progress against EHCP outcomes and targets.
