Job summary

Remedy Recruitment Group is seeking committed SEN Classroom Support staff to work across schools in Greenwich and Lewisham. You will help pupils feel confident and supported, contributing to their education and development each day.

You will gain experience in SEN settings, develop skills in supporting diverse needs, and collaborate with experienced teachers and support staff to make a positive impact on young learners.

Qualifications

• Experience with children or young people in school, care, youth work or similar setting.
• Prior SEN Classroom Support experience is advantageous but not essential.
• Knowledge of Autism, ADHD and challenging behaviour.
• Patient, calm and compassionate approach.
• Strong communication and teamwork.
• Desire to help young people overcome barriers and achieve goals.

Responsibilities

• Help pupils feel confident and supported in the classroom.
• Work with teachers and support staff to deliver SEN support.
• Develop understanding of different additional needs within SEN settings.
