Job summary

Teaching Personnel is recruiting staff to support SEN schools in Guildford and Surrey. You will work with children aged 5–18 with SEN across multiple settings, collaborating with therapists and families to provide holistic care and learning support.

Roles include TAs, LSAs, and HLTA-like responsibilities in flexible, long-term, short-term, or permanent placements. We offer competitive pay rates with weekly pay, full and part-time options, specialist SEN training and CPD, and ongoing consultant

Join Our Team Supporting SEN Schools in GUILDFORD, SURREY!

Teaching Personnel is seeking dedicated and passionate staff to join our teams supporting Special Educational Needs (SEN) schools across:
GUILDFORD, SURREY

We are currently recruiting for:

• Teaching Assistants (TA)
• Learning Support Assistant (LSA)
• Higher Level Teaching Assistants (HLTA)

Start Date: As soon as vetting is completed
Contract: Flexible roles - long-term, short-term, and permanent opportunities available

You will be working in warm, welcoming and supportive specialist SEN settings that cater for children and young people aged 5–18 with a range of additional needs, including:

• Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC)
• Social, Emotional and Mental Health needs (SEMH)
• Moderate and Severe Learning Difficulties (MLD/SLD)
• Speech, Language and Communication needs (SLCN)
• ADHD and associated behavioural needs
• Sensory processing difficulties

Each school provides a nurturing, structured environment where students are supported to thrive both academically and personally. Staff work closely with therapists, behaviour specialists, and families to most effective provide holistic support.

• Flexible and able to adapt to different learning and behavioural needs
• (For Teachers/HLTAs) Qualified or unqualified – experience in SEN or education is desirable but not essential

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
