Job summary

Empowering Learning Ltd. is seeking a qualified SEN Teacher or experienced Cover Supervisor to deliver engaging lessons in a Special Educational Needs (SEN) or PRU setting. You will support students with diverse needs, manage behaviour positively, and adapt approaches for ASD/ADHD/SEMH.

Qualifications

QTS or HLTA certification required.
Experience teaching or covering lessons in an SEN/PRU setting.
Strong SEN and SEMH strategies to support diverse learning needs.
Ability to build positive relationships and promote a safe, inclusive learning environment.
Proactive and adaptable classroom management.

Responsibilities

Deliver planned lessons and provide engaging learning experiences.
Manage classroom behaviour using positive strategies.
Adapt teaching to support students with ASD, ADHD, SEMH and other complex needs.
Provide 1:1 and small group interventions to support progress.
Collaborate with SENCOs, support staff and external professionals to tailor learning plans.
