Job summary

Education 365 is seeking an experienced SEN Teacher to join a specialist secondary school in England. The role starts ASAP and focuses on supporting pupils with severe learning difficulties and autism, delivering engaging, differentiated lessons.

You will plan learning tailored to individual needs, work closely with teaching assistants and the multidisciplinary team to promote communication, independence and meaningful progress.

Qualifications

  • Experience planning and delivering lessons for pupils with complex SEN.
  • Strong classroom management and adaptability in a specialist setting.
  • Ability to differentiate learning to meet individual pupil needs.

Responsibilities

We are seeking an experienced SEN Teacher to join a specialist secondary school. The school supports young people with severe learning difficulties (SLD), profound and multiple learning difficulties (PMLD) and autism within a highly supportive and well-resourced environment.

As an SEN Teacher, you will plan and deliver engaging, differentiated learning tailored to pupils' individual needs and abilities. You will work closely with teaching assistants and the wider multidisciplinary team to promote communication, independence and meaningful progress.

To be successful, you must hold QTS or QTLS and have suitable teaching experience. Experience supporting pupils with complex SEN is highly desirable, alongside strong classroom management, adaptability and a genuine commitment to specialist education.
