Job summary

Randstad Education is seeking an enthusiastic SEN Class Teacher to join our supportive school community. The role focuses on planning and delivering engaging lessons for SEN students aged 7-19, including GCSE-level work, in a rural setting.

You will work with teaching assistants, support student well-being, maintain safeguarding standards, and communicate regularly with parents about progress. QTS required and DBS check in place.

Qualifications

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) required.
• Proven experience supporting students with special educational needs.
• Friendly, organised approach with a passion for teaching.

Responsibilities

• Planning and delivering creative, stimulating lessons for SEN students aged 7-19, including GCSE-standard work.
• Providing a safe, nurturing space where every student can reach their potential.
• Supervising teaching assistants and collaborating with the team to support student growth.
• Supporting emotional well-being and developmental needs of students.
• Communicating regularly with parents to celebrate progress and keep them informed.
