Job summary

Flying High Partnership seeks an exceptional Class Teacher for The Blossom Tree Provision, a specialist SEND unit. You will share teaching with the Deputy Inclusion Lead in a small class, delivering a bespoke curriculum tailored to each pupil’s EHCP outcomes and needs.

You will collaborate with families, support staff and external colleagues to foster inclusive practice, emotional regulation and academic growth in a nurturing, high-expectation environment.

Qualifications

• Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
• Has experience teaching children with SEND or demonstrates a commitment to specialist provision.
• Understands nurturing relationships and emotionally safe learning environments.
• Delivers highly personalised teaching based on pupil needs and EHCP outcomes.
• Good understanding of communication needs, including speech and language challenges.

Responsibilities

• Share classroom teaching with the Deputy Inclusion Lead in a small class (4–10 pupils).
• Plan and deliver a bespoke curriculum tailored to individual EHCP outcomes.
• Promote communication, emotional regulation, self-esteem, independence and academic achievement.
• Collaborate with support staff, families and external professionals to support pupil progress.
• Adapt teaching and learning approaches to remove barriers to learning.
