Easthorpe School is seeking an experienced SEN Class Teacher to join our new Lower School provision in Ruddington. You will plan and deliver high-quality lessons within the National Curriculum, supporting pupils with SEMH and complex needs, whilst maintaining a safe, inclusive classroom and liaising with a supportive team.

The successful candidate will hold QTS, have a degree-level qualification, and a track record in SEND teaching, with strong behaviour management and a commitment to ongoing

Formación

• Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Strong educational background to degree level
• Previous successful SEND teaching experience

Responsabilidades

• Plan and deliver high-quality lessons within the National Curriculum, at primary and secondary levels, while meeting the complex SEMH needs of all pupils
• Support the class team in facilitating learning opportunities and promoting positive behaviours
• Report on pupils' progress and concerns, liaising with other school staff to ensure pupils' needs are met
• Supervise pupils during non-classroom time, including extra-curricular activities and school trips
• Build positive relationships with pupils, encouraging interaction and positive learning outcomes
• Assist the Exams Officer with the planning, organisation and administration of internal and external examinations
