Job summary

Easthorpe School in the East Midlands is expanding its team to support high-quality teaching for pupils aged 7-13 with SEMH needs. The role requires QTS and a strong educational background, plus experience with SEND and examinations.

Qualifications

• Hold QTS and have strong SEND/SEND teaching background.
• Experience with SEMH pupils and behaviour management.
• Familiarity with examinations processes within schools.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver high-quality lessons within the National Curriculum for primary and secondary levels while addressing SEMH needs.
• Support the class team to facilitate learning and promote positive behaviours.
• Report pupils' progress and concerns to ensure needs are met.
• Supervise pupils during non-classroom time, including activities and trips.
• Build positive relationships to encourage engagement and learning outcomes.
• Assist Exams Officer with planning, organisation and administration of internal and external exams.
