We are looking for SEN Class Teachers across various subjects to join a vibrant Special School in Southend. This is a full-time, temporary to permanent opportunity where you’ll play a pivotal role in fostering the academic and personal growth of your students.

As part of this dedicated team, you’ll have the opportunity to teach your subject specialism in a way that is tailored to meet the unique needs of each learner. Whether you’re an experienced teacher or at the beginning of your journey in SEN education, this role offers a rewarding and impactful career path.

Only candidates with the relevant teaching qualifications (e.g., QTS, PGCE, or equivalent) will be considered for this role.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and deliver lessons that are adapted to meet the needs of students with special educational needs (SEN).
  • Foster a supportive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes engagement and learning.
  • Assess and monitor student progress, tailoring strategies to support individual development.
  • Collaborate with colleagues, support staff, and external professionals to ensure the best outcomes for students.

  • Promote the school’s ethos of inclusivity and high expectations for all students.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Experience in teaching is desirable but not essential; passion and commitment are key.
