Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver differentiated lessons that cater to the needs of students with SEN.
• Foster a supportive and inclusive classroom environment to encourage learning and well-being.
• Assess and monitor student progress, implementing strategies to promote achievement.
• Work collaboratively with teaching assistants, parents, and external professionals.
• Contribute to the development and implementation of individual education plans (IEPs).
• Promote positive behaviour management and student engagement.
• Uphold the school’s safeguarding policies to ensure the welfare of all students.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
• A genuine passion for working with students with special educational needs.
• Excellent communication and classroom management skills.
• Patience, empathy, and a proactive approach to teaching.
• Previous experience in SEN education is desirable but not essential.
• A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.
