About The Role
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a SEN and Medical Administrative Support - Maternity Cover to join The Portsmouth Academy on a fixed-term contract. We are looking for a well-organised, efficient, and enthusiastic individual to provide a comprehensive administration service.
The successful candidate will be responsible for creating and updating Medical Health Care Plans, as well as the preparation and maintenance of first aid services, records, and reports. You will also work closely with the SENCo to provide administration support for key SEN areas within the main school and specialist resource provision.
You will have the ability to cope with conflicting demands whilst working to tight deadlines in a methodical manner, observing confidentiality at all times.

• Excellent administrative and organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
• Well-developed interpersonal skills to relate to a wide range of people including pupils, staff, parents, and external professionals
• An understanding of the developmental, emotional, social, and educational issues of children and young people
• High standards and attention to detail
• Excellent IT skills, including Microsoft 365
• GCSE Maths and English at grade C/4 or equivalent qualificationAbout Us
