The Graduate Network is seeking an SEN Academic Coach in Central Birmingham to deliver targeted interventions for KS3/KS4 students with additional learning needs. This role offers immediate start and a potential path to a permanent contract, with a weekly pay of £400–£500.

You will work 1:1 and in small groups, supporting GCSE preparation, literacy and numeracy, and strategies for independent study, while coordinating with SEN staff.

Qualifications

• DBS enhanced with children's barred list check.
• Degree in Psychology or Educational Psychology or closely related field.
• GCSE English and Maths at grade 4/C or above.
• Knowledge of SEN strategies to support progress.
• Ability to motivate diverse learners and explain challenging concepts.

Responsabilités

• Deliver 1:1 and small-group interventions for KS3/KS4 students with additional learning needs.
• Improve literacy and numeracy through structured activities targeting gaps in English and Maths.
• Adapt learning materials for students with autism, ADHD, dyslexia and other difficulties.
• Support GCSE preparation through revision sessions and subject guidance.
• Develop organisation and independent study skills to boost classroom performance.
• Collaborate with teachers and the SENCO to monitor attainment and targets.
