Job summary

Teaching Personnel is seeking a dedicated 1:1 Teaching Assistant for a primary setting in Kinson. This full-time role runs during term time and starts in September.

You will provide personalised one-to-one support for a pupil with SEN, adapt activities, promote positive behaviour, and work with the teacher, SENCO and staff to implement plans.

The role offers competitive daily pay (£93-£110), weekly pay, and opportunities for CPD and longer-term roles within a supportive school community.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting children with SEN in school or similar settings.
• Patient, nurturing and committed to helping every child succeed.
• Able to build positive relationships with pupils, staff and parents.

Responsibilities

• Provide dedicated 1:1 support for a pupil with SEN.
• Adapt learning activities to suit the individual needs and style.
• Encourage positive behaviour, emotional wellbeing and confidence.
• Support the pupil in the classroom, and during breaks and lunchtimes.
• Collaborate with the class teacher, SENCO and staff to implement plans.
