TeacherActive are seeking a dedicated Teaching Assistant to work in a Caerphilly-based primary school. The role focuses on supporting pupils with Special Educational Needs (ALN) on a 1:1 basis, under guidance from the class teacher. This is a temporary, long-term position with potential for permanency.

Experience with manual handling is an essential requirement, and the successful candidate will join a supportive team committed to inclusive education and pupil development.

Qualifications

• Experience working with Special Educational Needs / ALN.
• Ability to support pupils 1:1 and follow teacher instruction.

Responsibilities

• Provide 1:1 support to pupils with ALN.
• Assist the class teacher with preparation and classroom management.
• Support inclusive learning in a safe environment.
