Job summary

KLA Corporation in Newport, South Wales, is seeking a proactive Packing Technician to join our Packing and Logistics team. You will ensure efficient packing, documentation and dispatch of manufacturing spares, ship kits and parts to support customer demand and quarterly revenue targets.

The role requires attention to detail, strong organisational skills and ability to work across Manufacturing, Planning, Stores and Quality teams to maintain shipment schedules and safety standards.

Qualifications

• High attention to detail and accuracy in packing, documentation and shipping.
• Excellent organisational and time-management skills to prioritise in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills across multiple teams.

Responsibilities

• Pack, prepare and ship manufacturing products, spare parts, ship kits, upgrades and short shipments.
• Ensure packing/shipping activities are safe, accurate and comply with quality standards.
• Collaborate with Manufacturing to monitor status and availability for shipment per schedules.
• Verify BOM-aligned kit components with theStores team before shipment.
• Create, review and maintain shipping documentation for internal and customer requirements.
• Coordinate with on-site shipping contractor for timely booking, handover and dispatch.
• Assist with inventory accuracy and packing material management.
