MEL Environmental Solutions Ltd in Plymouth, UK is seeking a Semi-Skilled Groundworker/Labourer to join our team and support residential oil spill projects, environmental restoration, and safety on site. You will carry out site works following safety protocols, assist the Senior Technician, and support quality and health & safety systems while travelling as required.

Formación

• Experience in a multi-skilled construction role including groundworks and related tasks.
• Ability to operate a mini digger/dumper is preferred but not essential.
• Full UK driving licence is essential.
• Willingness to travel and stay away from home during the week if required.
• Must have the right to work in the UK.

We are currently seeking aSemi-Skilled Groundworker/Labourerto join our team in Plymouth, UK. This role involves working on residential oil spill projects, ensuring environmental restoration and safety.

What You’ll Do:

• Carry out site works following safety protocols, including the Construction Phase Plan and Health & Safety Policy.
• Assist Senior Technician/General Builder with various tasks.
• Support ISO9001 Quality Management System and ISO45001 Occupational Health & Safety Management System processes.
• Perform additional tasks as advised by Top Management.

Qualifications

What We’re Looking For:

• Experience in a multi-skilled construction role, including hand digging, groundwork, laying drainage, concreting, etc.
• Ability to operate a mini digger/dumper (preferred but not essential).
• Full UK driving licence (essential).
• Willingness to travel and work away from home during the week if required.
• Must have the right to work in the UK.
• Successful candidates will be subject to a DBS check and pre-employment Drugs and Alcohol Screening.
