Job summary

Greencore is hiring for a Semi-Skilled Factory Operative on the Day shift at the Bourne site. You will work in a fast-paced production environment, focusing on safety, speed and accuracy while supporting line leadership and quality checks.

Applicants should have manufacturing experience, a eye for detail, and be willing to learn food safety and GMPs. The role offers stable hours, benefits and growth opportunities within a large multinational company.

What we do.

This particular role is at our site based in Bourne and specialises in preparing fruit, leafy salads, and stir fry mixes. It employs over 1,200 people and is only 16 miles from Peterborough and 12 miles from Spalding.

About the role.

We manufacture a wide range of high-quality chilled products for our dedicated customers at our sites. Our production lines are non-stop, so you’ll be kept busy creating our products. Working right at the heart of our fast-paced, high-pressured environment, you’ll enjoy plenty of variety, be encouraged to find where your strengths lie and supported to achieve your full potential.

Whether you are a machine operative, mixing operative, technician, QCs or key operative, you’ll always focus on safety, speed and accuracy. Using your previous experience in a manufacturing environment, you’ll always aim to deliver high-quality in a right first-time environment.

Semi-Skilled Factory Operative - Days duties may include:

• Conducting CCP’s

• Metal Detection operation

• Check weighing operation

• Leading a production line
