Base pay range

Salary £30,000- £38,000 dependant on experience + Benefits

Full time - Flexible hours and some remote working

Location: Huddersfield

Due to expansion, our client is seeking a qualified senior accountant to join their growing and friendly team. Clients are SMEs who appreciate a personal touch, ranging from start-ups to companies with around £10 million turnover across various sectors.

Key responsibilities include:

• Preparation of accounts and Corporation Tax Returns
• Personal Tax Returns and Tax advice
• Providing strategic tax advice to clients
• Preparation of management accounts for clients
• Handling client queries and meetings
• Assisting junior team members
• Attending networking and other events
• Scheduling work for the team
• Managing own client portfolio

Attributes required:

• Excellent time management and organization skills
• Strong communication skills to instill confidence in clients
• Experience with SAGE, XERO, and other accounting software
• Ability to work in a busy environment and meet deadlines

Previous practice experience is required. Enthusiasm for self-development and gaining diverse experience is also important.

Hours:

• 5 days per week
• 1 day remote work per week
• Flexi-time available
