Job summary

OpenDigital Limited in Blackpool is seeking a Semi Senior Accountant to join a forward-thinking practice. You will deliver high-quality accounting services and nurture long-term client relationships.

The role offers exposure to statutory and management accounts, tax returns, bookkeeping and VAT, with a modern approach and opportunities for development and progression.

Qualifications

• 3+ years' experience within an accountancy practice (non-contractor).
• Experience preparing statutory accounts, management accounts, tax returns, bookkeeping and VAT returns.
• Confident managing client relationships and communicating via phone, email and video meetings.
• Strong working knowledge of cloud accounting software, ideally Xero.
• AAT qualified or ACA/ACCA part-qualified.
• Proactive attitude with a genuine desire to learn and develop.
• Excellent organisational skills and strong attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality accounting services and build long-term client relationships.
• Work across a varied client portfolio with exposure to statutory accounts, management accounts, VAT and bookkeeping.

The Role

As aSemi Senior Accountant, you'll play a key role in delivering high-quality accounting services while building strong, long-term client relationships. This is a varied position offering exposure to a wide range of clients and responsibilities, ensuring no two days are the same.

What We're Looking For

• At least 3 years' experience within an accountancy practice (non-contractor).
