The firm offers a friendly and supportive working environment, genuine opportunities for progression to Senior level and an excellent benefits package, including the option to work a 4-day week.

This would particularly suit an AAT qualified accountant who is already studying towards ACCA, or looking to begin their studies, and wants to continue developing their career within a well-established practice.

Duties and responsibilities

  • Continue developing technical knowledge of UK accounting standards, audit procedures and financial reporting requirements.
Experience and qualifications
  • Ideally at least 3 years' experience working within a UK accountancy practice.
  • Previous experience in both statutory accounts preparation and external audit.

  • A good understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting requirements.
  • Confident communicating with clients and colleagues at different levels.
  • Strong attention to detail, organisational skills and the ability to manage competing deadlines.
  • A positive, proactive approach with a genuine interest in continuing to develop within accountancy practice.

This position would suit an existing Audit & Accounts Semi-Senior or an experienced Accounts Assistant with relevant audit exposure looking to take on greater responsibility.
