Puro Associates are currently seeking a highly motivated and experienced Semi-Senior Accountant to join a growing, innovative firm in their York office. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a dynamic and growing company, with the chance to take on new challenges and progress your career.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain and manage your own portfolio clients
• Prepare end of year accounts for sole traders, limited companies and partnerships
• Be the point of contact for these clients, answering queries.
• General bookkeeping duties
• Tax returns
• VAT returns

Requirements:

• 2+ years practice experience
• AAT level 4 and/or ACCA/ACA part qualified
• Desire to progress professionally
