Job Profile for Semi Senior Accountant - JW269668

Exciting opportunity for a Semi Senior Accountant looking to join a high-profile, medium-large sized Accountancy Practice and continue their studies and develop in their career. This is a full-time, permanent position based in the Sheffield office.

The Accountant will join a medium-sized team within the Accountancy Practice to train and deliver high-quality, fast-paced Accounts Services to a high-profile client base.

This Practice uses various software including Xero, IRIS, and Sage. You will report to the Divisional Manager. Due to the high-profile nature of the client, the successful applicant must be dedicated and demonstrate good tenure.

Responsibilities include:

1. Accounts Preparation for Ltd companies
2. Preparing management accounts for clients
3. Preparing business and personal tax returns
4. VAT preparation and submissions
5. Offering advice and liaising directly with clients
6. Ad hoc duties as required

Minimum Requirements:

• Previous experience within an Accountancy Practice (minimum 2 years)
• Preferably studying AAT / ACCA / ACA / ICAEW
• Experience with Xero, Sage, or IRIS is beneficial
• Living within a commutable distance to Sheffield
• Availability for 5 hours per week, 8:30 am - 5:00 pm
