Semi-Senior Accountant

Butler Rose, public practice is delighted to be supporting our client, a medium size firm based in Birmingham who's currently got an opportunity for a Semi-Senior Accountant.

Role Requirements
  • Preparation of Sole trader, partnership and Limited company accounts to draft.
  • Preparation of general bookkeeping, to include processing sales and purchase invoices, bank transactions and reconciliations etc.
  • Preparation of VAT returns for clients up to draft stage.
  • Attending client meetings.
  • The potential for working with our Audit team if you would like experience in this.
  • Dealing with Ad-hoc client queries.
  • Helping to train the next generation of accountants within the team.
Personal Requirements
  • AAT/ACA/ACCA part qualified with experience within a UK Accountancy firm.
  • Communicating with clients.
  • Managing deadlines.
  • Liaising with senior management.
  • Working in a team.
  • Strong attention to detail.
