Are you passionate about supporting children with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs? Do you thrive in a role where every day brings the chance to change a life?

Hays Education is seeking dedicated and passionate SEMH Teaching Assistants to join our team in Rotherham. We have immediate placements available and welcome applications from professionals currently working with other agencies.

What You’ll Be Doing:

1. Empowering students with SEMH needs to grow academically and personally.
2. Supporting inclusive learning environments alongside experienced educators.
3. Providing tailored one-on-one or small group support.
4. Assisting with classroom management and day-to-day tasks.

What We’re Looking For:

1. Experience working with children with SEMH needs.
2. Experience working within a care background such as social care, health and social care, nursing etc.
3. A patient, empathetic, and resilient approach.
4. Strong communication and collaboration skills.
5. Relevant qualifications or training (a bonus, not a must!).
