About The Inclusion/SEND Team

Our inclusion team encompasses behaviour and SEND teams, including teaching assistants, pastoral officers, SENDCo, Assistant SENDCos, and Alternative Provision staff. We operate specialist provisions such as the Inclusion Centre, INTEX, and upcoming SEMH and Forest School provisions. Our team promotes an inclusive culture and supports staff development, working closely with pastoral teams to coordinate support.

About You

We seek a talented leader to oversee inclusion and intervention strategies, support achievement, and develop positive behaviors. The role involves managing the school's intervention services and supporting students with diverse needs, including SEMH. The line manager is the Vice Principal for Behaviour and Culture.

Our ideal candidate will:
  • Have a therapeutic background, with trauma-informed specialization preferred
  • Experience with secondary-aged children
  • Be resilient and committed to excellence
  • Possess a strong work ethic
  • Set high expectations and foster respectful, safe environments
  • Align with our values of integrity, ambition, and equality
Requirements
  • Qualifications in inclusion (ideally SENDCo and/or SEMH qualification)
  • Therapeutic background, trauma-informed preferred
  • Leadership experience
  • Experience with secondary students
  • At least two years working with challenging behaviors
