Job summary

Rikama Education in Maidstone is seeking a compassionate SEMH Teaching Assistant to support students aged 11-16 with EHCPs for SEMH, often alongside ASC, ADHD and attachment difficulties. You will provide 1:1 and small‑group support within a trauma‑informed, nurturing classroom.

You'll help with personalised learning, implement positive behaviour strategies, and support emotional regulation and safeguarding, working closely with a collaborative team to foster independence and well‑being.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting children with SEMH in a school or specialist setting.
• Understanding of ASC, ADHD and attachment difficulties.
• Safeguarding knowledge and professional boundaries.
